Being ELOs biggest selling single, there are also many different solid centre pressings/mouldings, as shown and as below the yellow line.
Don't Bring Me Down was issued in two different fonts:
-
The first version has the ELO band name in a curly font
-
The second version has a different font and text layout. The ELO band name is in a straight font, a "S" was added to the catalogue number and STEREO word is much smaller.
The 4 prong push out with the curley font band name is VERY rare. Only seen one copy in 40 years of collecting ELO
The 4 prong push out with the straight font band name is RED Translucent Vinyl.
Many miss-label copies exist with a mixture of S JET and just JET cat number along with curly font labels and straight font labels on different sides.
For example the image at the bottom of the page was scanned from the same record.

The 4 Prong Push Out centre and Solid Centre with S JET 153, with band name in straight font text of Don't Bring Me Down, are translucent red vinyl when held up with a bright light behind it. (The JET 153 with curly font band name is not translucent)
